I have worked for Lime Trees Vets since August 2002, but started full time in 2003. I have seen the clinic go through so many stages of development, it feels like I have worked for many different clinics. I am a Lime Trees girl through and through, and I love the team as they are so passionate about the patients and clients we see. As well as the patients and clients, I am also passionate about the team as part of my role as a nursing manager, helping to support the team to perform their role in whatever capacity they need. Outside of work I love to be active. This could be walking locally, or my happy place is on a mountain somewhere, even in bad weather. I also love going to spinning classes and a local circuits class. I have been lucky to find some really lovely and fun class mates for both of these activities. I have also just rejoined a choir that I was part of growing up. We had a reunion and we have started the choir up again. I had forgotten how much I enjoy it. I have sadly recently lost my spaniel to multiple long term health issues. Whilst this has left a huge hole in my life and is a tragic loss, it does help me see and understand some of what clients face every day. Due to family commitments, I have been unable to do much travelling, but I have just started exploring again, starting with a trip to Iceland in January 2025. It was absolutely amazing and I have a couple more trips booked to different places this year, so I'm really excited to this stunning world.
